Assessment 5 - 3d model with features natural systems

Assessment 5 process:
For this assessment, i just thinking about put all similiar irregular 3d shapes together in one cuboid.
The rhino and grasshopper part seems to work. And the physical model will come out soon.

Process:
1. create 2 points and use 2 points to create a 2 points box.

 2. Extr the box toward z- axis

3. Use the "Voronoi" to create a pattern and offset the pattern to get the thickness.
Add caption

4. Extr the pattern and offset line to z- axis.

5. Use the "cap" tool to give it a volume.

6. Use the "Sdiff" tool to give the pattern geometry only.

Assessment 4 - laser cut + 3d print model

Assessment 4 process:
For this assessment, i try to put 2 similar 3d model interlocking together with 2 different ways.
The laser cut part have been successful to cut and finished.
But the 3d print part have been failed for 2 times and seems to not big enough.  I will try to fix and print again soon.

Process:
1. create a circle volume and use "divide" separate to 10 parts, each part divide to 6 surfaces. And create a surface box.
2. create another geometry (cube with the circle void in the middle).
3. create a bounding box as a reference box for the "Morph" tool.
4. use "solid union" tool to create solid geometry.

Assessment 3 - Waffling laser cut process model

For the waffling laser cut model, i have done the laser cut all the pieces, but when i try to put all the pieces together, i broke 2 of the pieces. I will laser cut that 2 pieces again and continue to make the finish model. Here is the process waffling laser cut model.

Assessment 2 - 3D print process model

For the 3D print model, i have not made the model cut into two parts and did not have any supports. And i failed to print the finish 3D model. Here is the process model i have done and i will fix and finish the 3D model as soon as possible.
